Over three-quarters (77%) of members of the NEJM Catalyst Insights Council, comprising health care executives, clinicians, and clinical leaders, believe that disruptors to the status quo, such as retail clinics and telemedicine, will force traditional care delivery organizations to improve patient experience and customer service. Nearly two-thirds of respondents (62%) believe disruptors will decrease costs.
